The Measuring Emissions Guide is for Aotearoa New Zealand-based organisations wishing to measure and report their greenhouse gas emissions. By measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, organisations can manage and gradually reduce them and help Aotearoa New Zealand meet its emission reduction targets.

The Measuring Emissions Guide is published each year to incorporate new information from the Greenhouse Gas Inventory and other sources. This site includes the Measuring Emissions Catalogue which describes how each emissions factor was created and should be used, and the Measuring Emissions Flat File and links to the historical versions of these items
